Independent. We represent many insurance companies; we’ll help you to select the one that best fits your needs.
Experienced. When combined, Gary Stearns and Terry Jancar have nearly 50 years in the agency business.
Local. We work in Fairfield County, we live in Fairfield County, and we support Fairfield County. A “call center” employee located elsewhere in the world can’t know all of the local conditions that must be considered when creating an insurance program.
Reputation. Ask anyone you meet, we’re known locally and in the insurance industry as ethical, honest and professional.
Value. With many insurance companies to choose from, we could offer only those that are cheap or those that pay us the highest commission. We don’t. We seek value for you. When we offer VALUE (ie: appropriate, effective coverage at a fair price through a stable insurance company) rather than CHEAP (ie: low cost without concern for value received) hopefully you’ll feel we’ve served you well and will allow us to continue serving you .

We're Independent Insurance Agents
There are three very different kinds of insurance agents:
- Captive Agents, sell the insurance of only one company.
- 1-800 Agents, sell the insurance of one company, and only on the telephone.
- Independent Insurance Agents, represent many insurance companies.
- An Independent Agent works with you to determine the coverages needed.
- An Independent Agent offers the best coverage at the best price from many companies represented.
